I really need your peoples help!!!!!

What kind of lionfish should i get for my 55gal tank?I know i cant get a volitan(oh man),and i herd that dwarfs are VERY HARD to traing feeding.And those are the only lionfish at the pet store!!Put one employee said that there volitan lionfish(3in)can go into a 55gal tank.And i dont want go back to the pet store to waste $200 on a 180gal tank!I really want a lionfish!

You can get one of the dwarf species.
Radiata Lionfish, Fu manchu lionfish, fuzzy dwarf lion, or the antennata lionfish.

my dwarf lion was VERY easy to get feeding, i fed live food for a week, nothing for a week, and then he assaulted the frozen krill i put in. Probably the easiest time i've had trying to start an aggressive on feeding.

I would defenitely go with the fuzzy lion if you have a small tank....Only thing is it stays very small.....If you can get the volitan...even tho it wont grow to max size in ur tank it will still grow and be gorgeous.....lastly I would def not get the antenetta lion....they only eat live foods and you really have to train them...good luck!

$200 on a 180 gallon tank? Thats hardly a waste, probably one of the best deals I have heard for saltwater in a long time actually. Go with the 180, better yet, where do you live, I will drive my SUV with bad gas milage and get it myself and still come out on top even with gas prices the way they are. j/k I unfortunately dont have a place to put it right now, errrrr.

I would get a fuzzy or zebra dwarf lion and ween it to frozen foods. Its not extremely difficult... we might be able to give you a few hints.
