i dont think that will provide enough lighting for an anemone and usually anemones need bigger tanks

You probably have the size 14 oceanic biocube, its got PCs. Your lights aren't strong enough for an anemone. Minimum lights for an anemone would be High Output T-5s with individual reflectors or Metal Halides.

The LFS will tell you anything to make some $$. Your light isn't strong enough for an anemone. But you can keep any kind of softies, leathers, and LPS.

you are no where near ready for an anemone.
do you even have water in your tank yet?
you need live rock and your tank needs to cycle which takes about a month
and after the cycle, you should not add an anemone for a few months
do lots of research on her before you do anything to your tank

i would suggest getting more live rock since you said you only have 4 pounds

you will need more then 4 pounds of rock and most likely a little stronger lighting. you will need some good filtering, since thats probably the only way to keep the anemone happy in a 14 gallon.

if you cant afford an anemone then i cant see how you can afford sufficient lighting. get a job to pay for everything. im 15 and i've been working for one and a half years, including two summers. thats how i paid for my tank. if i could do it, itll be easy for you. all of the high paying jobs require sixteen year olds.
Maintaining a salt tank at 15 is pretty impressive! I'm 29 and it sucks away all my time and money. I can't imagine how awesome your tank will be once your older. Keep it up and study, the more money you make the nicer the tank you can have(what got me through law school).

they can split, but this usually happens when they are unhealthy, or you can cut them down the middle (ive only heard of this being done with BTAs) but it is very likely that they will die as a result. i wouldnt try it.
no not all the time. they sometimes do it naturally. thats how they reproduce.

3 things you need to do:
1- get a job to support your addiction(swf)

2- get a bigger tank for anemone
3- get better lighting (T5's or stronger)
Not trying to be harsh but if your going to do it, listen to all the advice that is given to you and try to do it right the first time.
