I think I have a problem

Can someone help me out and identify something I saw in my tank this morning. It looks like a worm of some kind. It's orange, black, and then orange again. It was about an inch long and covered with spines. Freaky lookin guy.

Sounds like a bristle worm. They are good. Do a search out here and you should see a pic of one

May want to remove only if they get to be over a foot long. Use tweezers as they do pinch. They are a great clean up crew animal though

Bristle worms can be very bad if they get large and it does't take long. They can eat fish if they are big enough. I'd suggest a coral banded shrimp to control them.
