On my rock i have these brown tubes. Coming out of the brown tubes are feathers. I will try to get you a picture tomorrow. From what I have read these are not good.
Whats the best way to remove them?

Yup, hydroids. If I had a colony I wanted to get rid of I would place some epoxy over the colony.

Is there a certin kind of epoxy i should get?

i think i have something like that growing on some LR. Seems to be spreading ... are they harmful ?

any marine epoxy that says "aquarium safe".
