Tizzo...Pretty eyes! (the blue, not the red)...While it would not hurt to pursue
the Vitamin K theory I would think if you were low in Vit K you would have general clotting/bruising problems.
You have probably explored this, but since I noticed you wear contacts does it happen to occur when you put in a new pair or have just cleaned them?

uummmm, YUCK!! I was not expecting that!! Makes MY eyes water. I can only imagine how freaky that must be. My grandma used to have something similar, but with her throat. The vessel in the back of her throat would just pop a little and she would have a fair amount of blood. It seemed like more with saliva mixed in but the doc's were never worried. I wonder if you have something similar with yours. It looks like it starts in the back corner and then picks up your tears?
I would think your blood is fine....that would have come up during your deliveries.
pretty eyes!! my daughters are similar......green, but depending on what she wears they change. (and she wants colored contacts
)

Oh boy, I'm gonna get into so much trouble here. I very rarely put in new ones OR clean them. Every time I take out my contacts, the next day they get all fooggy, so I just leave em in. For pretty long periods of time...
So these episodes are random as to when I put in a new pair...
Val,... In my best guess it comes from up under the top lid...
Love, sorry to gross you out, but you get grossed out easily.lol

Alix,
1. who needs him when we have Al Mc
2. yup!

3. no not horrible unless it starts to hurt.
4. thanks...
But again, I think it's all the flash. They aren't quite that intense in color.

as in you never remove them???? If so maybe thats it. When the "extended wear" came out many years ago, I did that. (because they said you could)
I had what I think was considered an absess under by eye lid. It did not bleed, but I did not know it existed either. My Doc saw it. After that I removed my contacts daily.
Yeah, a lot of stuff grosses me out, especially snakes and BIG spiders. Because they are all maneaters. You should know this stuff

Hi! Saw your eyes and thought that I would talk to the optomotrist that I work with. You need to get your contact out every day and replace most contacts monthly with new ones. Sorry I sound so bossy but I have been working with eye doctors and contacts for 16 years. I'll let you know what I find out.

haha mimz... I'm on it as soon as I can be! I'm spending the next 3 days in the hospital. Not for me, but their lookin' at my kids brain. Anyway it makes researching hard. It's all the patience I have to read the boards on my iPhone, LOL.
Gotta pass the time somehow.
Liz, As far as the contacts, I know. My own opt. Made me sign a contract stating I will remove them at least more often.

That is so weird!
It's almost like a spontaneous nosebleed...but in your eye. I wonder if it's similar? I know I have the nosebleeds and it's from thin capillaries, I don't know why eyes couldn't have the same problems?
Hope you can figure it out!
Oh yeah...I'm another like you who doesn't take out my contacts like I'm supposed to. My doc did switch me to some extended wear ones that "breathe" better and you don't have to take them out every night. He yelled at me too, lol...but these contacts are great!

Peachy, Those are the kind I use. The breathables...
Al Mc, How could I turn away from our very own web MD, lol.
ScottS and Sep, 48 hour EEG, that's all. They are looking for seizures. And it felt like prison to me. He had it made like he was in a stinkin resoprt, but I'm not even allowed to use the rooms bathroom! They have a menu thjat's extensive with room service that he can order from anytime as many times as he wants! He has video games...
I got to sit there and stare at the walls, read my fish books, and play on my iPhone for 3 stinkin days, lol.
Won't have the results for a while.

and Kiki, no way I'm having syrgery! They tell me I'm a perfect candidate for lasik and I won't even do that! Nope, not in the eyes!
