I think its a baby star fish

When i first started my tank around 18 months ago i had a starfish. I started with the corals and found out that some stars eat coral, so i traded him in. Last week i saw two little stars at night. I wasnt sure what they were but this morning i got a good look at it and am pretty sure its a tiny starfish. Does anyone know if starfish lay eggs or what???? Can it take nearly a year for them to develop???? Its not the greatest pic but you can get the jist.....

Could be asterina stars ... common hitchhikers in most tanks. :thinking:

Odds are its an asterina star, which are pretty darn common hitch hikers. They are also called parasitic stars. SOme foks like em others swear at them, but I have yet to see any damages or problems with them so I keep all I get......some lfs pick em out and throw em in the trash.......harlequin shrimp love to eat them.
