because they always used to swim next to each other and play with each other. the male used to have seizures for the female. and now he dosent do that any more. they dont play with each other or swim with each other
and she/he got even more aggressive than usual. what went wrong?

impossible...they both could have turned female, which you will have a problem, but that shouldn't have happened. (females are always bigger than the males ) once a female always a female

i think they sometimes dislike each other just like people sometimes don't like to hang out with each other all the time. i wanna say that even though mine is a couple now, i don't know if they always hung out together. i still sometimes see one of them wander off across the tank, but they usually end up seeking one another. GIve it time.

which is why it is always recommended to get the smallest one possible if introducing a new clown. But if two are in the tank, one will grow bigger than the other , that;s the female

What I meant with my line is that clowns are male's from birth and PB was wondering if both of the clowns had turned into female (very unlikely) that they only way he'd know for sure if the other was still a male is by them mating. Once a clown turns into a female it doesn't turn male.

ive had that one single male for about 5 months. when a clownfish is alone in a tank with out one of the same species it will turn into a male.

If anything, a single, solitary clownfish (after months) will turn female, not male.

It don't matter where you heard it. It was wrong.
Or your remembering backwards. As everyone is mentioning, a male will "turn" female.
They do not turn into males.

Although its already been stated Ill state it also. It is geneticaly impossibe for a female clownfish to turn back into a male
