I think my zoos have been eaten

I believe that my zoos may have gotten eaten. I have had them about a month and the last couple of days they have not opened. I have check all my levels and they are good. Last night I noticed what is believed to be a nubi(at least the closest thing it looks like) I tried to get a picture but my camera is having issues or the operator so no picture availabe. So here is the problem how do you get rid of them? Will my zoos ever come back, I mean they are there but will they reopen or will they die off?
What I have done so far is tried to get them off the zoos have gotten about 7 so far.
They are about 1/6in in length so they are very hard to spot.

what i do is a fresh RO/DI water dip at the same temp as ur tank.... the zoo's will close but then swish around the peice and u will see the nudis fall off this is a good way of getting rid of them,.... check for eggs too they are white and in a circle stuck to the underside of the zoo's....
this works really good IMO

Well I am not sure of anything. Just looking at other posts I have came to the conslusion that is what they are. They look like a hairy slug. When in the water they have a pink hugh to them but out of the water they are brown with clumps of hair( well not hair but thats the only word I can think of that fits it the best)

That is pretty much what it looks like. I have been finding a few more since last night. However I believe the zoos will be Ok in time. I have had a few open up since last night.
So I am hoping that the rest will be OK. Just scared they have laid eggs and I haven't found them yet.
Thanks everyone for all your help

yeah they close up cuz those suckers munch on there skirts and they get irritated and close but if u can remove them they will be fine... i periodically find them in my tank now and then so its just a thing ull have to be aware of from now on cuz once u have them u probably wont get rid of them..... like i said though they lay little white eggs in a cluster but a fresh water dip has always seemed to get most of those lil suckers!

im having a problem with my zoos as well. when i brought them home they were nice and full. now there is

[hr]
bare spots on top and bottom of the colony and they are getting less and less daily. i took out my brittle sea star, i thought it was him that was 3 weeks ago 4 days ago i took out 2 conch snails some A snails and 4 mini hermits and a bigger blue leg hermit. there are white specks when i shake it in the tank????? help please!!!! zoos are my fave. Hey tip on spot lighting, i went to my local shucks auto store and picked up some blue LED lights for $13.00 for 2. they are for cars but i mounted them to the hood of my tank and they work beautifully!!!!! saved about $16.00. they run for $29.00 - my lfs.
also my zoos now have a fluffy white film on bout 5 of em. i also noticed some hitch hikers in my tank, i got a green brain coral and there was a small hole where baby pearlesent snails are comming from. the shell on them is an abalony (inner)
color also for htose of you who have kids or watch sponge bob there is one i found that looks like garry the snail???????????? any ideas about these?????

well the main things that afflict zoos are
A. zoo eating Nudi's (look like slug)
B. Sundial snails (look like a cone shaped snail with black and yellow striped they stay on the zoo's and should be easy to spot
C Zoo spiders (look like a tick and they grab onto the zoo's top and chow down)
all should be able to be seen if taken out and looked at closely.... u have to pick them off your dip them.....
i have also had zoo's melt away for no particualr reason so sometimes it has nothing to do with predation

thanks for the info... i think i have all tree. the slug thing has kind of pearley shell and looks to out grow the shell rather quickly, also the black and yellow stripped snails i see throughout the tank, they hitched a ride on my green brain coral the thing that looks like a tick i just saw when i was re-aranging the rock.
wow i better get busy. thx again...

wow if u have all three its guna be a problem.... if u dont have too many zoo's yet u can sacrafice those ones then let all the animals die off due to starvation then try adding some zoos like a few months down the line and check out any new ones before adding them to the tank i suualy inspect them while they are closed
