I came home today and noticed that the water temperature in my tank was 88.9 degrees(I have a digital thermometer). I checked the heater but it was off. I unpluged it anyway but the water temperature is still 87.6 degrees after 2 1/2 hours. I double checked with a regular thermometer and it reads the same. I think maybe the pump is giving off too much heat? I have a Mag Drive 5 pump for the return and a Jebo pump that came with the skimmer. I may have to take the pump out of the water and run a line from the sump to the pump. Any other ideas?
