I think this is a grouper - anyone know what kind?

Howdy. I am back after selling fish back to the lfs we bought em from, tearing down tanks, moving, setting up tanks, etc. etc. The last tank we set up is a new 150 that is going total aggressive on. Currently a home to a 4" clown trigger and this pretty fish (dialup beware). I think its a grouper - anyone know for sure?
I want to add a nice brown moray, an harl. tusk and maybe an undulated. Maybe. Comments?? I will post up some pics of this tank and the other soon.

My opinion is that it looks like the Plectropomus maculatus or Spotted Coral Grouper.

Hmmm, yes, that seems to be it, ty, though there seems to be considerable variation in spots.
Any comments on tank mate choices?

i wouldnt get the unduliated because that might kill all of your tank and same with the clown trigger but a emporer angel would be nice

the clown is good for now until he starts attacking fish though
