Well, just keep fighting and hang in there. I'm looking forward to seeing some pics of your tank.

And yeah, I'm in IT and I've got a couple leads. Something will come around. The universe seems to want to keep me humble so I'm never allowed to make a lot of money, nor am I ever in dire need of it. It all works out...heh.

I agree that they seem to grow faster at an angle and i also agree it depends on the species. I've found that if they are the type that "spider web" their base they grow faster than if they are a solid base. also I think they grow slower on frag discs than they do on rocks for some reason. just my 2 cents.

I know some people have mentioned it already but some zoos just don't like to spread. I have one zoo frag that has yet to spread off its frag disc and is ateast 6 months old but some frags that are little over a month old are already spreading to other rocks. If they look healthy I doubt it is a problem with your tank.

yeah i agree with you jerthunter if they look healthy and they have grown some i don't think it is my tank either probably its just adjusting them closer or further from the lights although i have one that fell to the sandbed and it looks like it is doing well there just slow growth, my water is mixed now so in the next couple of hours i will post the test results only thing i'm thinking is the nitrates might be high...tobin

I had my zoos under some lower lights when I first put them in my tank, NO T5 lights, though one of my zoos, the monster mouth, seemed to grow and spread pretty well, but my other more brighter zoos grew very slowly. Now that I have my 250W MHs they are all growing much faster, so for me it was the lighting. In my coral book it says, "need bright illumination", but like I said they looked healthy under my lower lights, but now are growing much faster under the brighter light.
