Ok, I have a problem. Whenever I try to open up itunes, it just bounces once in my dock, and then does not open! It is making me mad. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix it or what is wrong? ( please no bashing i stuff, I know it is all rubbish, but its what I have to work with)
thanx,
.:Dirk:.

if you restart the computer and it still wont open, go to apple.com and redownload itunes. i have to do it occasionally. it doesnt mess with your library or anything. always works for me.

Call apple for customer support.. Alot of times they will answer tech support questions and walk you through it for no charge.. Something similar happened to me with my iphoto.. I think its 1 800 my apple.

you can back up your library onto CDs. it only puts about 180 items on each CD though, so plan accordingly. it took about 40 CDs to back up my library.

im not too familiar with macs, but do you have folders like "my documants" and "my music" like PCs do?

yep. heres how you do it for a PC, you may have to adjust a little for mac.
go to my documents > my music > itunes music > itunes library
and then you will have all of your artists, you can double click on each one and then you will go to albums, and then songs. you can drag and drop them onto blank CDs and then burn them. if you have a big library it will take a lot of CDs though.
