Does that mean you guys are going to "respectfully" <cough, cough> disagree somewhere else?
Can't we all just understand and let the newer people on this board realize as bluntly as possible, that while Bob has his methods, they are not proven, they are experimental, and they are a minority so small that to even measure it requires instrumentation more delicate than any reefer has.
That being said, I support free speech. This country was born with stupid ideas. Heck, a few of them even worked
I for one would rather learn the right (and proven) way of keeping a reef before I try ALL the shortcuts. The more I learn, the more I can test different philosophies.
That's my 2 cents. No replies necessary I am going home and won't read them anyway.

What are they NOW?
Was the tank covered in any form of algae?
How is the livestock doing? and where are they?
Did your anemone die?
What depth do you define as a Deep sand bed?
Do you siphon your DSB?

Without a reason why the tank went sour in a mater of hours, you will be making the same fatal mistakes again and again. Its not that fun of a hobby if that is the case.

I still strongly feel that your inhabitants be held at the LFS. You have enough to deal with on your hands as it is right now. If you make such drastic changes to a tank it can in no way become a health functional system within a day.

If cyno I would would worry about it. A nutrient rich envirment with poor gas exchange has a very strong potential to crash. What are your water parameters? How is the circulation? Do not resort to drastic measures. Find the root of the problem and correct it slowly. However start a new thead. This thread has already been hijacked enough

Things are slowly coming around.........I did lose the anemone the snails and a pink clown......They are all back in the 55G now,.....and seem to be ok (so far) It is still an hour by hour check.......Purchased a new skimmer...just to be sure......and an RO unit, but have not been able to get it connected quite right yet. Oh, and LOTS of prayers...............My levels are still elevated,,,,,but they were super high in the QT cause it was so overloaded.....I do appreciate everyones help, and I pray that this never happens to anyone else......
