Or just get a mac.
I don't mean to be the thorn in everyone's side, but until you've tried spending a week on a new intel-based mac (which blows that IBM chip crap out of the water) but if you try it out, you'll find that it's a lot quicker than you'd expect.
Once you've had mac, you never go back.
I like Mac's but they're too anti-Microsoft, and I've found them restrictive in the business environment. Our company and clients are so dedicated to the Microsoft software. There's also other programs and utilities we use that have no versions for Mac's. Sure you can get Office for the Mac, but last I checked there's some features that aren't exactly the same as the Windows version. You can put XP or Vista on a Parallels instance, but what's the point?
Besides, there's a Colonel in one of the departments that is a chess fanatic. When he takes his laptop home at night, he sits on MSN Games and plays online chess. Microsoft will not allow you to play online on MSN Games unless you run it on IE6 or later.
