i want a mean but colorfull fish any ideas

Is this for the current 55 listed in your sig, or a new one that you are looking to stock?
If this is your current 55, you have plenty of fish in there already (if not too many) and I don't recommend adding anything else unless you want to throw out some money.

Hawaiin or Japanese dragons would only need a 55g tank. They rarely reach 36". Bo

Most damselfish are colorful and agressive. I've also seen some pretty large ones and they'd be perfect in a agressive tank.

how about firefish? its great in pairs, im going to get a pair when i finish my 55 gallon
and you should check out lawnmower blennies, it lacks color but makes it up for a great personaility, its a great fish to add in the tank and its supposed to be friendly
