I want a Porcupine Puffer, (Spiny Box Puffer)

I've never kept anything besides predatory fish...with Moray Eels being my forte.
My Porc was kept with a 15" Volitan Lion and a 30" Hawaiian Dragon Moray for YEARS, with no problems.
Once I aquired them, the Porc was kept with the same fish, in addition to an 8" Blue Throat Trigger, a 12" Red Coris Wrasse and eventually a 6" Foxface, in a 200gal. tank.
The Foxface was a refugee that I'd taken in, cause it had been kept in a 30gal. tank. Unfortunately, not long after I took the Foxface, it stung the Porc with within 2 days, the Porc was dead. Cause of death was the tissue around the sting began rotting away (necrosis). This was after the Porc was removed, QT'd and heavily medicated, with antibiotic. There was just nothing I could do save him.

I've currently got my porc puffer in with a foxface, bicolor angel, and a blue tang. As I watch them right now the puffere and the foxface are resting in the same cave with the tang in the rocks above them and the angel is out swimming around. My puffer tries to be friendly with all the fish. He was stung once by the foxface, but somehow

managed to survive. They usually can be found swimming near each other in the tank.

what size tank do you have them in? do you have any coral in with them?

I have them in a 150G with sand and live rock. No corals though as I've heard that aren't very good with puffers.

I am going to have to disagree with one thing here AW2, puffers are carnivores there for they have no interest in coral just invertebrate. So he/she could have coral with a puffer.
I have a Porcupine puffer with leathers, acros, and anemones and he doesn't bother a thing. At least that is my experience with them.

Puffers are some of the coolest fish ever. But my puffer picks at everything in the tank. I wouldn't even try a coral in the tank with him. I had a piece of LR with a macro on it and the puffer destroyed that before I'd dumped the bucket of water he was acclimating in.
