I want another clown !!!

I want another clown. right now I have 2 damsels about 1 1/2 inch a maroon clown about 3 inchs. I want another clown, should I get another maroon or a different spiece altogether. I also plan to get a sfe, or is it just better to leave it at one clown. Btw I have a 55g.

should have bought a mated pair or introduced several at once. normally if you add more than one, eventually the leader will start knocking the others off. especially since you have a maroon. they are known to be little fighters.

Mated pairs are expensive and sure some don`t want to deal with rearing and raising fish . You don`t need mated pairs to have two fish in the same tank .
Definetly get another maroon . Mixing species will cause a war and might fight till death . Make sure you get one smaller than the one you have now .

I agree, Maroons are some of the most aggressive clowns. Especially toward other species. If you want another, I also recommend a SMALL maroon. Even then, maroons are extremely tough to pair and the female may end up killing her potential partner
