There are lots of beautiful fish that are mean... heh heh. For a 55 I think a dwarf lion, or a huma huma trigger would be pretty cool. Although the huma may need a bigger tank when full grown. Maybe you could try one of the smaller puffers or somethin. Just some ideas... :D

I keep an undulate in my 55. He is a really cool fish. Very active, colorful, and just fun to watch. They are the only trigger I'd keep in a 55. 55's are pretty small, so you are limited on what you can keep. Options include tobies, dwarf lions, hamlets, eels, certain bass/basslets, and a few other odds and ends. Depending on what fishes you chose, you are looking at 2 or 3 specimens. Bo

This is by no means intended to sound mean or rude, I just want to pre-warn you. Twenty five pounds of live rock in a 55 gallon tank with aggressive fish is not going to filter the tank enough. When you think of "mean" aggressive fish, you need to think of huge bioload because that is what they are. Any type of puffer, lion, grouper, hamlet, eel, trigger, wrasse are all carnivores, which means that the waste that they put out is very large. You are definitely going to have to get about 40 more pounds of live rock in the tank if you are considering aggressive fish, unless you plan to do regular weekly water changes. Even with weekly water changes however, if you don't have the filtration, skimming, etc. to keep up with the fishs' daily waste, your tank levels will spike rather rapidly.
Before loading up with 2 to 4 "aggressive" fish (such as groupers or puffers), I would highly consider adding more live rock to the tank. This is definitely going to spare you the headache that may occur with only 25 lbs. of rock. Believe me, the extra rock definitely makes a difference. I'm not saying all this to be mean, I am just trying to save you the effort and money down the road.

Some small puffers, maybe an eel??? A dwarf lion should do great in that tank, but they are tough to get to eat. I might stay away from triggers, just cuz they can be really, really mean fish. Small puffers, some cannot be mixed together, but if u want a pretty, little puffer, maybe a spotted puffer. They gots blue spots, they are really cool. Then for a cool dwarf? Maybe a fu manchu, cuz they are pretty neat.

Wat r u talking about??? U shouldnt even have HALF of those fish in the size tank that u say u have. Let alone a queen trigger. Niger trigger, yellow tang, kole tang, even a dragonet needs a LOAD of live rock to live off of, and u cant possibly have that much rock in a tank with that many fish. You need to get some help fast or yer tank will crash.

i dont even have a quuen assassin or picasso i was just wondering cuase i heard that you could have a niger and a blue throat trigger will get along and my niger is the most peaceful fish in my tank all he does is intimidate the bigger fish and he leaves all the others alone and minds his own business.

Yer tank is way overcrowded anyway. Forgot about having any triggers in there, let alone another. Yer niger trigger is gonna freak soon. How long have u had this overpopulated tank running might I ask?

I agree, you seriously need to get rid of fish in that tank. I am starting to wonder if he is just a troll trying to get a response.

If you seen it there is enough room in there or would you like to arque with my mom about her fish she says no more but her brown tang might go but other than that we have only lost one but someone ate his fins and he was a really small velvet damsel about a month ago and the clowns and them are all acting normal and the blenny we have takes care of all the algae.

Yea, u must be a middle skooler. Metting yer mom control the tank. hmm.... Anyway, its either that, or ALL the fishies die. Maybe the clowns survive, but tang goes down the drain, trigger will freak and either jump or stress to death. Yer mandarin, no sufficient food supply, blennies? U only have one dragonet according to yer most recent descriptions, and they dont eat algae. Tangs eat algae, but there isnt even enough room for just those 2 tangs in that one tank.
