Hello!
I hope every one had a good fourth of July!
I want to add a new fish but do not know what to get, I want something that looks cool, easy to feed, non aggressive.
I have a 55 gallon tank.
4 T-5 HO's for lights
70lbs of LR
3 inch sand bed
A fuge with Cheto LS and LR
Skimmer
Chiller
Ect.. ect..
My biomass includes:
Corals:
15 different small to medium coral frags including:
Acropora, Montipora, Toadstool, cabbage, mushrooms, trees, leathers
Inverts:
Snails
Hermit Crabs
1 cleaner shrimp
1 Peppermint shrimp
Green bubble anemone
Fish:
ily: arial, sans-serif">Yellow tail blue damsel
Percula Clownfish
Yellow tang
There are so many different saltwater fish out there, all of which have different temperaments.
I was thinking about getting a six line wrasse, but sounds like those are a 50/50 shot.
I was also looking at a sometype of firefish or a smaller brown tang.
Can I get some input?

So, Flower finally brought you out of hiding! YAY!
I don't recommend adding another tang to this tank, you're already pushing the limits having the one, but that's a different story.
I definitely do not recommend a Six Line Wrasse, especially with already having a DAMsel in there. They'll fight. Six Line's usually behave better if they're the absolute last fish added, but even then, it's a risk. Beautiful little fish, but a monster nonetheless.
Is there any possibility of you getting rid of the damsel? It might be okay now, but as it grows, they get very, VERY aggressive and this is going to be an issue with stocking any other fish in the tank.
A firefish is definitely doable. They usually like to be in groups of three, just something to keep in mind.
Look into a flasher or fairy wrasse as well, such as a McCosker's or the like. They're usually very peaceful and there are some beautiful species out there. They can really add a lot of life to a reef, and some are beneficial as well, eating certain parasites that can harm corals.
Another species of fish to consider is an algae blenny. They have the BEST personalities. Look into a BiColor or a Tail Spot, either would do well in your tank.
You could also look into doing a dwarf angelfish such as a Coral Beauty.
Have you considered pairing your clownfish with a mate? If so, make sure it's the same species, and the one you add should be smaller than the one you already own.
A Green Banded Goby, or similar small goby would be a nice addition to the bottom of your tank.
Right now, you have all open water swimmers, you can certainly add a few more open water swimmers (wrasse, firefish, dwarf angel), but getting some bottom dwellers (certain gobies) or fish that perch on rocks (blennies) will add some diversity to the tank and make it really well rounded.

Thank you BTLDreef!
That is exactly what I was looking for!
I by no means plan on keeping that damsel, it is all just a matter of catching it without destroying the rest of the tank.
I will do some more research but will probably start with a gobie and then maybe dwarf angel, in the event I can get the damsel out! (If you can't tell I have tried)
I have another question as to the quartentine and aclamation process:
I set up a ten gallon tank with water from my main tank, I put a whisper filter (no carbon) on it, that was on my main tank as (for this purpose) well as som PVC pipe peices on the bottom and a heater.
That should work for a quarantine, right? How long should these fish (one at a time) stay in quarentine? Two-three weeks? Do I change the water from the main tank to the quarantine to keep the conditions in the qarantine as close to the main tank as possible? If so how oftern do I do that?

Look at a scooter blenny. Best personality I have ever seen in a sw fish I have owned

I don't understand why people do't like the yellowtail blue damsel
I had one for almost 3 years and got to almost 3in. without issues

I have to agree here.  I also have a YT blue damsel, and it is a model citizen.,....I have also had it almost 3 years....it is in my 225G and most fish are bigger then it though...LOL

Yup, that's probably why it behaves.
The big problem with yellow tails is that there are several different varieties of damsels that are blue and yellow and some (most) quite often are mislabeled. For example, the Azure is one mean little fish, and I've seen it labled as a Yellow Tail in many stores.
I'd rather air on the side of caution when it comes to a few fish like damsels and six line wrasse, especially in tanks less than 90 or so gallons.

You can do a blenny AND a goby. BTW, scooter blennies aren't really "blennies" so you could still have an algae blenny with a scooter.
