I want to get a Lionfish. Will it work with these fish!

Hey All
New to these boards so HI to everyone.
I have wanted a Lionfish forever now and we have had our 90G set up since Jan 3rd/08.
So far we have (and forgive my spelling)
6 - Chromas
2 - Clown Fish
1 - Butterfly
1 - Midnight Angel (kind of aggressive)
1 - Yellow Tang
1 - Blue Hippo Tang
1 - Rasp
So would a Dwarf Lionfish live happily with these guys? Or am I just dreaming?

i dont know... youre pretty much maxed out i would think.... and lionfishes poop... a lot and often... youd have problems keeping up your water quality...
and besides... other than your two tangs... the Lion would make a snack of all the other fish in no time.
i wouldnt do it.

i still wouldnt do it as i think youre pretty maxed out as it is.

So apparently I shouldn't listen to my local Big Als cause their telling me that I can have 1 fish for every 5 gallons!
Should have known, they just want to sell sell sell!

I was told it really doesnt matter how many fish you have in your tank by one of the fish stores out here. I dont go there....

yeah, I think that would be alot of fish also. and jesses was right, they poop a lot. in addition to that they are messy eaters which adds more waste. If you were to get rid of a fish or two, so long as you arent already running high nitrates/ammonia in your tank that may be a possibility. If I were you, Id probably get rid of the chromis as those would be the easiest for the lion to eat. and another of your least favorite fish. thats only if you really, really want the lion. If it were my tank, I wouldnt risk it. You never know which fish will be the straw that broke the camels back.

Welcome to the boards! This is a fuzzy dwarf that you want, correct? One is compatible with your current fish. They grow to five inches. Your tank is very new. Wait six months and see how stable your system is.
