thats cool and understandable, sucks about the ick problem. Save your money and get a large tank like a 75 gallon, it will make things so much easier.

oh yeah, alot of lfs if you can find a good one will sell used tanks a gallon a buck. IE you could get a 100 gallon tank for 100 bucks, not bad if you can go get it drilled and then you'd only have to spend 50-60 on a pump for a good refugium/sump made out of tuberware.

wow!!! i bought a 40 gallon breeder new for 100. But my cousin works at the place where i got it so it was only 80. But still! unfortunatly i live in new england, so going down there isnt realy an option. And i havent seen any used things at my local fish store. I kept the reciept for the tank and the hang on filter (a tetratec pf 300. 60 bucks-20%) i got there, just in case i wanted to return it.
I might return it and look for some used plaaces around. The problem is, i dont yet have my lisence. And another is that im 2 years ill be at college, i woudl like to go someplace realy close, because theres a good marine biology program at Welyan university. My mom works there, my step dad went there, and i lived in middle town until 3rd grade. My dad still lives there too, so i figure everything would be a big plus. But if i dont go near by, my mom will have to be taking care of all my fish.
ill ask someone in new hobbyists if they know of any good local fish stores in CT
and how would you make a sump out of tupperware?

it depends upon your tank, a skimmer of course is always a good thing, as well, your clownfish dosen't have to have an anenome to host, various other corals will host as well.

oh wow. Well i have a moroon, what types of corals would be a possibility that you know of? Would they need any less lighting?
the lights i have in now suposidly say they are ideal for reef aguqriums. But they are NO, 18 watts a piece, and only about 6500K. so i dont think i trust them
