I want to see my red lip blenny eat

I have a red lip blenny in my 20G long with two chromis
He's has been in the tank for a week as of today
I see him picking at the rocks but he's not eating the hair algae
or any other food I place in my tank
HELP:

what are you feeding it. Many of the blennies eat mainly veggie matter. Also if he's pinking at the rock...He's Eating! If you want to get rid of the hair algae get a lawnmower blenny.

yeah, lawnmower blennies are much more likely to eat hair algae, but i think you shouldn't add one now, it would probably not get along with your red lipped. besides, there is no guarantee a LMB would eat the hair algae either. mine never touches the stuff any more. and yes, the red lip is eating when he picks at the rock, this is the same as my LMB, I can't actually see what he is eating when he picks at the rock, but I know he is cause his belly is always huge!
