I would most definitally get MH and VHO together, and i'd go with the 20 gal long, and plumb a rubbermade container to it, it'll give you more volume, if you think about it, well at least i'm thinkin' a 33 gal trash can..

also,can you drill a hole in the side for a skimmer with the container leaking? would the plastic heat up too much beacuse of the heat from the light?
