Does any of your puffers bother any of your other fish like clowns, I have a Porc in my 75 gallon and since I put him in there I have lost 2 clowns, I don't think its him, I think its that dam Damsel that I bought to cycle my tank cause I saw him nipping at one of the clowns yesterday, But no real damage till the night. So I don't know if its the Porc or the Damsel?
Any suggestions:confused:

Flush and dam Damsel as you call it and see what happens tonight.
Sorry, I meant to say, take the Damsel back to the store and let it live in harmony with it's own kind at the LFS.

I say flush it and we all will sleep better at night....

I have to admit, after killing my cb butterfly within 20 min of being in the tank, I caught my damsel and flushed it.
Here is my puffer. Not a good pix...

FLUSH IT!!
I had one that took out three of my fish!! The one that got me the most upset was my beautiful mandrin goby
They are almost as annoying as the aphtasia that has taken over my 55 gal.

Those puffers and boxfish are truly wonderful, but, you didn't flush a fish? You are kidding!? You could have sold it, taken it to your LFS? I hope you are kidding. How cruel is that? Didn't you read what your individual fishes needs are? They are just being what they are. It is up to us to do the fair thing by them and that is to be informed! Are you kidding? If not, you do not deserve to be in this hobby.

Judgenot!! there were three people in this post that said FLUSH IT before I did. Let me ask you this, mother theresa, When you walk outside, are you careful not to step on the cockroaches on your porch? WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE? The Damsel I flushed killed a few very nice fish and would have continued to do so unless I did something about it. By the way, you mentioned that I could have sold it! That is a funny joke!! When I called my LFS and explained what was happening, he is the one who suggested I flush him!!

I am not judging, and by the way, if I can help it, I DON"T step on an ant even. Ever read about the life of an ant? All I am saying is you show a disregard for life in general. It is sad. No, I am certainly not Mother Theresa. She has passed on. You are very defensive. What's wrong?

Disreguard for life, NO... whats wrong?, Maybe a bit frustrated. Let me ask you this, Have you had the experience of any of your fish being eaten by a damsel? Believe me I understand the importance of each species and all that jazz, I'm just empathetic to the person who is asking advice because I have been in their shoes. I'm sure you have lost fish before and when you finally figure out what the source is, and it happens to be a damsel, I have to admit it feels good to know that you other fish are safe because you took care of it! I really don't think its that huge of a deal, and again, I'm not the only person on this thread that suggested the flushing...
as far as the mother theresa comment, my apologies, it was mearly a joke :hilarious
......one final question, Do you really avoid the cockroaches??
