That is why I like N. California. We are just about an hour from Tahoe. Your wife has been here, have you?

Yup. I have worked inside the Grass Valley Kmart.
When we were first looking at possibilities, I chose a place called Grizzly Flats.
I drove from Sac. to Tahoe and drove around the little towns along the way. It was a lot like the hills of Missouri. I would love to need a Jeep again.

Unfortunately, her job had some input. I suppose it's for the better anyway. We would SOOOO miss the beach and year round mild weather. Not to mention Disneyland and SeaWorld. I guess it's the price we pay for living where so many others want to live.....high crime, large local government, severe traffic and what's left of the Third Reich running our homeowners associations.

I can't believe a house that size costs $600,000

It would be about $250,000 here. But then again Ohio sucks.
