i just got a toadstool and assumed it had a hard bottom and i dont know if i can glue the actual toadstool to a rock of it i should place it in the sand next to a rock and hope it attaches? like i said iam a dummy please help

Yup glue it where you want it. Just remember it grows and fairly quickly and fairly large.

what i would do is take a small piece of rock and glue it to that and then place it where u want it. That way if u dont like it there u can move it with out having to mess with anything else.

I'm pretty sure you can glue it. Mine came attached to a small piece of rock. It does get huge, FAST. I had to move it twice because it got too big for where I placed it.

toadstools, like any other leather, will fight you tooth and nail if you try to glue the leather itself.
best thing to do is either loosely yet snugly rubberband it to a rock, or take a plastic toothpick, lay it over the base of the coral, squishing the coral to the rock, and either rubber band the toothpick or glue the tooth pick to the rock.
leathers tend to slime up nicely if you mess with them, preventing glue from working well.

yeah i got up this morning and it was drooping so i moved it up in the tank and closer to flow and just wedged it in a crevis (sp)

it will droop until it's no longer stressed. shoving it in a crevase may or may not work, depending on your flow. it would always blow my colt around until i banded it.

its not getting blown around i just moved it a bout 6in up in the tank and a lil closer to the flow....how long for it to attach its self to the rock 2 weeks or so?

it should only tank 3-4 days...
