Ice cap problem ??????

I installed my new 3 million dollar ice cap system. Its 72 inches with 4 bulbs. A 03 blue, 2 50/50s and a sunburst. Total watts 640. I installed this from my previous 120 watt 50/50 system. Honestly I see almost no light difference and I don't see how it benifited me at all. Maybe my expectations were too high but for the money I spent, I am very dissappointed. Anyone else experience this or am I not giving my lights a fair shake??????

Trust me, you might not notice the difference but your animals will. I didn't notice that much difference between 150 and 400-watt MH's but the colour difference in the corals is amazing. It's the same way that you will not notice a decrease in intensity or spectral shift in old bulbs but your tank will display the telltale signs. Believe me, you have made a good choice, and your tamk will benefit greatly from it.
