Hey, I'm pretty new to all of this, and I have a Q. I have been checkin out this forum tryin to learn about some things to watch out for and what other supplements to get (will be gettin Kent garlic stuff everyone is swearin by!) But here is my question, I thought the pacific cleaner shrimp would eat the ich off of fish, and that fish will actually swim up to them to have ich eaten. How come nobody is mentioning this? Is it not true?

Cleaner shrimp will do this, but its not really a "sure thing". I had one that would clean my hand gladly when I had it in the water, but never developed a taste for fish cleaning! :D Bottom line, not the most reliable source for cleaning.
Better to use fresh mince garlic and perserve the garlic juice then use a bottled garlic product.

You don't put any in the tank, you soak your meaty food in it, put it and food in the fridge for around 20 mins, allowing the juices and repellent qualities to soak in to the food, then serve to fish. Always cover food in fridge to retain quality of fish food. A small plastic container is good for this, or even a ceramic saucer.

Personnally, I like the bulk of my reef tank food to be freshly made. Take a look at the receipe in the FAQ Thread.
