So 5 weeks have gone by since I setup the QT. After daily water changes for the first 4-weeks, the QT is finally cycled.

All the fish were doing well until yesterday. I came home to find my female clown stuck to the intake of my powerhead. She was still alive but barely. I immediately unplugged the powerhead and pulled her free, but Im afraid it was too late. The powerhead had nearly pulled her apart and she had a large blister on her side. So I did the correct thing and put her down.

I am sorry about your clown. Does it have a cover on it? If it has at least a screen then she wasn't feeling well already. Healthy fish do not get stuck to an intake with a cover.

No unfortunately the screen was not installed. I think I must have knocked it off during the last water change. Stupid mistake. And of course it had to happen to one of my favorite fish. I am planning on trading in the tang (too big for my 75) and one of the angels (polyp nipper). I was going to keep the clowns and all of the chromis.

Yeah, screens are very important. If you get an anemone then you will need a sponge intake cover. They seem to enjoy going toward the intake then get shredded. I am glad that you are trading in the tang. You would have had nothing but problems with him in the long run.
