ICH OR VELVET?

How do I tell the difference? My angel has small white spots that look like little tiny bubbles all over him. None of the other fish are infected. Thank you!

Ick is usually white dots that looks as if the fish has had table salt sprinkled on it.
Velvet looks more powdery, as if the fish has dust on it. The appearance can very in color.
Velvet, also is quite deadly and kills rapidly. Ick, on the other hand, normally gives you a bit more time to treat.

Also...he was fine this morning and when I got home from work he was like this. His colors are not very vivid either. My readings are:
ph 8.2
ammonia 0
nitrites 0
temp 78
sp 1.23
The tank has been set up for about 7 months now.

Hmmm...it looks more powdery than like salt. Everything here is closed until the morning. I hope it makes it until then.

Thanks for the help. My two clowns are covered now. The angel is scratching but the others are not. I am about to get some medicine. I think it is velvet but I am not positive.

Well I lost all of my fish. I still think that it was velvet. I have a few questions ....
1. I had the angel for about 2 or 3 weeks could it have had it when I bought it...and if not how did it get it?
2. There are only shrimp, crabs, and snails in my tank. Do I leave it alone and w/out a host the prasite will die or do I continue to treat w/ medication and hope it won't hurt the inverts? If left empty will it cycle again?
Sorry for the length. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
