Ich problem in QT

Hello
It appears that the ich is spreading and getting worse in my copper dosed qt tank. I dont know if this is normal but there are now more white spots on the hippo tang, and yellow tang. My flame angel is starting to show more spots too in the tail area. I used Cupramine and followed the dosage instruction exactly. I have a seachem copper test kit but it doesnt seem to be working. I even tried dosing a huge amount of cupramine a small cup but the seachem test kit still didnt pick it up. So i borrowed my friends Api copper test kit and rite now its showing 0.50ppm. The fishes has been in the qtank for 7 days and i need 7 more days to complete the copper treatment for total of two weeks. Now should i consider treating them with copper a little longer than two weeks?
Qt tank is 55gallon
Fish: two clown fish, neon goby, royal gramma, striped damsel, 2.5" blue tang and flame angel. 3" yellow tang

go with hypo salinity... if you are having problems with copper... copper should be a last treatment ,not a first...

Copper takes longer than two weeks. It does not effect the ich that is already on the fish.

So are you saying that i should expose the fish in copper for more than 2 weeks? Because the bottle said to do it for 2 weeks only.

Yes. It takes a week for the parasites to all be off of the fish. Copper takes about three weeks to treat.
