If you do NOT have any coral and do NOT want to put any coral in that tank in the future you could use it, but it will likely kill any inverts/coral on the live rock.
Do you have a QT? or have you thought of adding cleaner shrimp (depending on the type of fish of course)

I want to put corals in but probably not for a few months. And as far as a QT tank, I just havn't had the cash to put one together yet. But I am going to in about 2 weeks or so

And yes I am going to add a cleaner shrimp as well. The LFS guy is going to have some come in this week

There are currently 2 medications for ich that are reef safe that I am aware of. Kick Ich and Parasite Stop. I have used kick ich in my 110 reef, it got rid of the ich and didnt harm anything in the tank. However, kick ich did not cure the ich in my 220 FOWLR. I have parasite stop on the way and amgoing to give that a try.

I agree. Parasite Stop is the only ich "treatment" that I would ever use in a display tank. I have used this product before and it worked excellently. You definitely need to make sure you have an alkalinity test kit though.
