I have a 150 gl tank, it's been running for about 4 months. I had a blue hippo, yellow tang and a powder blue tang... Here is the bad news all of them died because of the ICH.. Now I only have a damsel and like 80 lbs of LR...
What do I do to kill the ICH??????? Do I need to remove the damsel from the tank???????
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Welcome to the boards.
Please see the disease forum for in dpeth help with ich.
Yes, in order to get rid of ich you need to remove all of the fish from your tank for 6 weeks.
Ich is a parasite. The best way to avoid it is to QT all new fish for 4-6 weeks before introducing them into your display tank.

Vertebrates, such as fish, are the only hosts of the Ich parasite.
Invertebrates such as snails cannot host the parasite.

So, can I still add LR to my DT during this 6 week period????
or do I have to wait until the 6 weeks pass by????

IF you remove the damsel from your display tank you could add live rock to the display.
As long as the damsel is in the tank the Ich parasite will be in your tank. Treating for ich in your display will kill live rock and inverts.
