got a cleaner shrimp, and neon goby?? sailfin tangs really like cleaner shrimps...mine lets the shrimp mount him and pick stuff out of his mouth haha, ive seen him open his gills way up and let the neon goby go into his gills, was disgusting

Ditto on that question.
Pic looks like it could have white spots like ick. What else do you have in the tank? Are they acting OK? Any recent changes that may have added stress? Do you have a quarrantine tank?

CBS do not clean anything besides leftover food from the bottom of the tank. They are predatory shrimp. Fire shrimp sometimes do provide cleaning services. CBS do not clean anything besides leftover food from the bottom of the tank. They are predatory shrimp. Fire shrimp sometimes do provide cleaning services. Cleaners of any kind cannot and will not remove a parasite from the tank. Most will only pick the adult trophont off of the fish, but not the other stages in the tank.

I agree with everything but the CBS comment... At least in the wild CBS do provide cleaning services and I believe they are classified as a "cleaning" shrimp. Exhibit A taken in Bonaire.
