How long will i have to keep fish out of my reef tank. all the fish have now died! Sorry there is one left but he is in another tank.He has never showed any symptoms as the other fish did! so how long do i keep fish out of the reef tank.
50 Gallon reef
15 snail
15 crabs
2 cleaner shrimp
1 coral banded shrimp
mushrooms
some coral

It takes at least 4 weeks for the parasite to die off in the main tank. I'd wait at least 5 maybe 6 just to be sure.
