Ick but now not sure

Im relatively new and thought I might have a case of ick. It is wierd because its everywhere. Floating thru tank, on the glass, and fish. I mean that it looks as if the glass has ick but you can see it move on the glass. After I seen the thousands on the glass Im confused as what to do. Ive read a hundred threads and no where have I seen anything similar. It does appear to bother the fish as they are scraping themselves and It appears to be worse in the morning than evening, any suggestion.

No, you would not be able see ich in the water or anywhere except attached to the fish. Take a look at the examples of ich in the Diseased Fish Thread and see if this is what your fish have.

It looks like ick. Im not completely new but its been about 15 years since I messed with a tank. I thought it was Ich at first because that is exactly what it looks like, till I seen the critters on the glass. and on the fish. They are so small and look like ich on the fish because you cant see thru them but on the glass there are thousands probably, it looks like the glass has ich and except for the ability to see them move on the glass(its stationary so I can see movement)it would be hard to tell the difference. Even a magnifying glass does not help. Whats odd is that one of the damsels has figured out they must be tasty because hes chowin down all evening. Im also concerned because it is bothering the tang and coral beauty and Im not sure what to do. Would you do anything or is there anything that i could do. Or maybe just leave it and see what happens

It is unrelated. What you are seeing in the tank is some sort of microfauna that has nothing to do with ich. Nothing to worry about.
The ich, however, is something to worry about. And you really can not effectively treat ich in your display. Take a look at the FAQ Thread at the top of this forum and topic there on ich.
