ick on tang

I have a yellow tang that has a minor case of ick i would qt him but i cant catch him without removing all of my rock. I also have two cleaner shrimp that have removed the ick but does this cure him or will it come back. I don't want to use any meds in my reef what do i do??????????

your best luck is to try and catch him and qt him. otherwise they might clean him but never really remove all of the parasite.
you could also try soaking food in garlic and help boost the tangs immune system. hth
