ick or something else?

I have a 150fo with all the levels fine. I have an emperor angel with some white marks on his fins-they dont look like ick because they're a little bigger and they will come and go on from 1 day to another. They're also flat-they're not raised up. He also has a few dots on his side that look like ick. He has been a really healthy fish all along and he still eats really good. Does this sound like a problem? How long do I wait before i take him out of the tank and put him in the qt? I'm not that worried yet!

My emperor and flame angel occasionaly get the same thing on their fins. I have never treated them and they are fine. If you get raised bumps on the body that may be ick.

When I very first introduced my emperor to the tank he had the same thing. I wouldn't worry about it since he is eating. I don't know about you but I love my emperor like a child almost. He is by far my favorite fish. TJ

TJswanson, I agree with u, they are great fish. My has a great personality and is just the coolest looking fish. Mine is a juvenile now and i cant wait till he is an adult. Is yours a juv. or adult?
