Ick Please Help!?!?!?!

I am about 90% sure my foxface has ick. I am going to put him and my other 3 fish in a ht to treat them. My Question is how long will I have to have them out of my dt before all Ick in it dies? and do I have to remove all my crabs and snails will ick use them for food to stay alive? Thank you all. These Message Boards are great, I don't know what I would o without them most likely give up on Saltwater.

OM, take a look at the post on ich in the FAQ Thread located at the top of this forum. Is your QT just setup, or already cycled? Are you going to treat with hyposalinity?

some people would say six weeks. not really sure. i also have ich but i am treating them and the tank together with something called 100% organics ich treatment. its about four dollars and you can leave ur invers in unlike copper which would kill them and ur fish if overdosed. plus it will only take a week. remeber to take out ur carbon or it will destroy ur biobed
