Can anyone tell from this pic? He is in a 200 gal reef tank. It developed 2 days ago, and got a little bigger. Should I take him out, leave alone, or medicate. Thanks

one more thing, the only defect is the one spot. The rest of the fish has great color. It is only the lighting that looks like there are other problem areas. Thanks.

to me it looks like ich.... i am a firm believer that when you notice something like this the fish should at the very least be removed and quarantined.. granted its immune system may battle the illness. but you dont want this stuff taking over your display tank..remember its a closed environment and ich can rule your tank in no time. put him in the qt and i am partial to malachite green, its an old but effective treatment for ich. keep him in qt for 3 weeks or so and bring up temp in qt to 80 it will speed up the cycle of the ich and add an airstone for extra oxygen in th qt.
