Ick??????

I am battling ick in my 55gal reef tank
What are some things to try to help. I am going to pick-up a cleaner shrimp saturday morning, any tips on what to do in the mean time? PLEASE HELP

i think i have heard that garlic juice works miracles on ick. trying doing a search to confirm that i am correct on this though. hope that helps.

From what I understand, using garlic on your fishes' food is more of a preventative than a cure, as it simply helps boost your fish's immune system.
A cleaner shrimp might help to some degree, but your best plan is to set up a quarantine/hospital tank so that you can treat your fish out of the main display.
