how do you get icon and pics under your name
and how do you attach a pictuer in a thread

I don't know about the icons (there is an avatar section if you hit the user cp button up top and then go to edit options) but to attach a picture just scroll down on the message or response page and click the browse button under attach file. Then just pick your file and u're set. Although it says bmp is an option try to use jpg/jpeg or gif so the file isn't so huge. I prefer to write code to link files but that's another story.

They are called Avatars. You have to post up 50 posts, they you can get one under user cp.

How come when i click on things that pop up in a new window like profile it brings me to swf mian page instead

its a script the admin runs to prevent poping outa frames... what u can do is goto main page and there will be a list of online users there. You can pick their profile from there
