Dosnt look like a colt to me, can you get a clearer pic? Use macro setting on camera. Fighting algea are we?

I can't remember the scientific name, but the common name for that coral is a Kenya Tree coral. They grow like weeds and drop branches all the time to reproduce. Like Xenia they can start to take over if not kept in check. They are related to colt corals, but are slightly different.

I agree...possibly a "KENya Tree" coral...I've never kept one and I don't think I've ever seen one first hand. It may also be some type of "finger leather"....maybe some type of sinularia. I have one that nearly died away after I purchased it.....was smaller than yours after the die off
