picture of a plant i got on my new piece of live rock did research cant figure out what it is :// i know the photo is hard to see, but its a very small plant and sort of looks like a small brown bush with ridges on it ? not sure haha

macroalgae...I can't tell by the picture...google brown macroalgae and see if you can find some images to match up. ...The discription sounds like sargassum.

It depends on what type of tank you have and what the macro is. For instance, if you have a reef, you probably don't want the stuff in your DT. If you have a FO setup, it's a good thing IMHO (we run lots of live macro in our FOWLR's).

just a flouresent light idk nothing fancy came with thaa TANK LAWL mmm,
