i just bought a very tiny piece of live rock with like 5 kinda big holes in them and in about 10 minutes i noticed a very small fish come out!! its purple with red fins. its as thick as a mechanical pencils led. it comes out and picks at some of my live rock and goes and hides back in its little hole! what is it! im soo exited!!!!!

fire fish is probaly right and if its purple then you are so lucky i hear they go for like $60-$70

lol ya i got it from Nemo's movie.
the fire fish? good jumper. ill keep the lid on tight. and it wont come out from the bottom so i think im good for a while. but now i have too many fish! lol
i have a mated pair of percula clownfish
a lawn mower blenney
and a green cromis
now + a fire fish! i guess i have to give the cromis away

What size is your tank?

purple fire fish are about 29 to 40 here. congrats. How did you acclimate it. I would keep an eye on it for shock
