can't find anything like this. It has almost sharp edges and it always seems to shrivel up about mid day. this is when lights first came on in morning

Yours appears to be pretty small yet. I have several green hairy mushrooms and the picture looks like the smaller ones.
They do get very large (salad plate size) and have the protuding mouth.
Do you feed it? If so, when you do, does it fold in on itself like a hot air balloon? Of all the mushrooms/rhodaticis I have, the green hairy is the only one which does this in a very pronounced manner.
