Can anyone tell me what this is growing under my zoo rock ? Thanks.

If your talking about the yellowish thing hanging on the rock it's a sponge.

Hypertek99 yes that is what i was talking about. Thanks, That is what i thought it was. And no that is not Cyano. Its just a different coloration of Coralline algae.

I would chip or scrub off that sponge. It will halt the zoanthids growth and actually smother it one it glows over them.

I have the same yellow sponges near some of my zoas. Don't worry about it, they won't overgrow them all. They also add some nice color and texture to the tank.

I would still keep an eye on it in the future. But i was just saving you time to do it now. And if they are around your zoanthids remember the zoas won't grow over them so they are talking up space where your zoas can grow.
