I'm no expert, but it looks a lot like a jelly which is really wierd. Have you just added any new live rock or corals?

Yes we have been adding lr for a few weeks now. I did look at the hitchhikers thread and i think it may be a pod of some sort?????????? not sure if good or bad!

I don't know, I would probably dump it- once you start setting up your live rocks and stuff, well finding the bad guys starts getting harder and harder.
If new rocks you cycling them? I highly recc at a bare min 5 minutes in a low salinity dip approx. 1.013- this will cause all kinds of crap to come out of hte rock, crabs, shrimp, etc and then you cn sift thru keep what you want toss what you don't.
Whatever new added, if you can put in a hosp or quarantine tank for at least 1 week, 2 would be better and just watch. A little patience and prevention to start can save you LOTS of time and money later. Yeah but's it s a real bummer not to get teh instant gratificiation

Yes we do cycle the rock before we put it in. But I really dont want to get rid of it unless it is bad for the tank. Not that I dont trust you danprospec. Im just hoping someone else comes forward that has had them. Thanx!

Do a search for white flatworm. :thinking:

Yep, it's a flatworm that feeds on copepods. They are generally harmless and given their food source they rarely become abundant in a tank. Nothing to worry about IMO.

yeah, i saw quite a few of those in my tank for about a week, then no more! I wouldnt worry about it.
