Hi all..
I need help with finding out what is going on with my tank..
I have put one new featherduster into my tank in the last month... This tank has been est. about a year now and now I have odd things going on within it.
1.) Mounds of sand appearing overnight all over the open spot of my tank. One of the mounds is right next to the glass and a very small (approx paper thin) hole is going down from the top of the mound to the bottom of my tank. We disturbed it one night and the next morning they were back.
2.) (this one is going to need a picture) On my one piece of dead coral and on many of my lr's, there seems to be little white fuzz balls, the type that you'd find on a white sweater. I can see about 15-20 of them all over the tank and one is on the side. One of the "fuzzballs" has a small hole in the top and the rest seem to be sealed off.
Finally, I have found a small conch shell and half of what looks like a really small clam shell.. Both are empty. I never had these in my tank before and I have no idea where they came from?
Any ideas anyone?
