ID on a pissible zoo or paly

The yellow is hard like a stony coral and there is a small yellow bud in the center of each one. I just got them as a free frag so I am guessing whatever is in there has not come out yet.

Just a guess but I'm wondering if its a sun coral...each 'button' needs to be fed separately I'm told. Good score if I'm right.

The person I got them from actually sells those too! So I guess that might be what it is

I just bought one and it's gorgeous. There are 30 'buttons' on the piece and the biggest one might be almost 1" long when it comes out....I really like it but I think it's going to be HIGH maintenance...That's ok with me. As long as the crabs in my tank don't screw with it....

1st pic is when I brought them home...
I just got a 1/2 decent pic of mine half open...they just ate...now I think they might want more...

Yea that looks like the ones he was selling.
I read up a little on them and it says it prefers shady areas. Should I find it a spot that is a little shaded by a rock?

I put mine one the bottom in part shade...and low to moderate flow...not sure if thats right yet...
They are soooooooo cool...
